In 2005 Klint Robins trained with us to do his first Triathlon and then joined our TBF Racing Key Staff team as Course Director, and two years later traveled with his wife Lenie Robins to Thailand with us to race the Laguna Phuket Triathlon. In 2009 they founded MJMP – Maria & Joseph’s Ministry to the Poor to provide proper healthcare, nutrition, and sanitation for children in the Philippines. Part of their mission is providing vitamins for infants, children, pregnant and lactating women. Part of their mission is providing shoes for children who have never owned a pair. Part of their mission is providing clean water to drink. They have built community centers and established eleven missions to help make the lives of poor children better. Mostly with their own time and money over the last seven years.
Total Body Fitness and TBF Racing are going to team up with Maria & Joseph’s Ministry to the Poor to help do even more to improve the quality of life for the children they are working with. MJMP will be the Official Charitable Beneficiary for all of our 2017 Multisport events and they will be out at our upcoming events: The Fleet Feet Sports Women’s Triathlon Festival, Granite Bay Triathlon and Golden State Triathlon this year to introduce themselves to our athletes. Please come by and say hello to Klint and Lenie, two of the most generous and wonderful people I know, and you will see why I feel so thankful to have them as friends and look forward to working together with them to help the children.
