Our mission is a simple one: Founded in 2009, Maria & Joseph’s Ministry to the Poor (MJMP) is incorporated as a 501(c)(3), non-governmental, nonprofit organization dedicated to the humanitarian mission of building up the lives of underserved children in the Philippines, empower their families, and improve the quality of life in their communities.
MJMP is a 100% volunteer organization and has developed a comprehensive plan called the B.U.R.O. Project (Building Up Reaching Out)™ , It is not just one project, but a variety of community outreach activities to help underserved children, particularly in areas of health, nutrition, and literacy.
Programs include child feeding, micronutrient distribution, purified water distribution centers, education, and medical assistance.
Maria & Joseph’s Ministry to the Poor (MJMP), depends on you and your financial support. MJMP does not receive any state or government funding and is run solely on donations like yours, which ensures us to be able to continue our mission and be here for the mother and children that need our assistance.
