GOING GREEN THE MJMP WAY

FILL UP A B.U.R.O. BAG WITH RECYCLED SCHOOL SUPPLIES

(Building Up, Reaching Out)™

Donations don’t always have to cost money.   A little Time and Ingenuity and a little Recycling goes along way…

Start a school project and help us make our B.U.R.O. Bag Project a great success.  We are collecting and recycled school supplies for 3000 indigent children.  They need pencils, paper, crayons, and any other school materials that will be helpful to every child.

We are asking for donations of these supplies, but the good news is you do not need to spend money in order to help.  We are asking for usable, lightly used recycled school materials — half a pencil makes a big difference to a child who has nothing to start with.  Broken, usable crayons will still create beautiful pictures!  So, before you discard old classroom supplies, please think of the poor children of the Philippines. We need your help

Here’s a list of items that you might consider giving:

  • Books: old children’s books, dictionaries, games & puzzles
  • Calculators
  • Chalk
  • Compasses
  • Construction paper
  • Folders
  • Markers and colored pencils
  • Protractors
  • Rulers
  • Unfinished workbook pages or coloring books
  • Unused portion of notebooks or ruled paper
  • Used crayons, pens, and pencils
  • Used scissors, sharpeners, erasers, glue / glue-sticks

Used backpacks or school bags are also gladly accepted.

Bring a smile to a child’s face and a BURO Bag into their hands by making a donation today…
