At Maria & Joseph's Ministry to the Poor, we haven’t just changed one life. We’ve changed hundreds. In the short time we’ve been in existence we’ve helped feed and cloth hundreds of children and gotten some, out of some pretty yucky situations and have improved their lives.
Our mission is to restore hope and dignity, and transform lives. Our programs help develop children and family’s self-confidence and spiritual development which empower then to realize self-sufficiency and break the trap of living in poverty
We know the problems are real with every visit to the Philippines. Maria & Joseph's Ministry to the Poor is trying to change that, one child, one family at a time.
But it takes a lot to provide this type of help to those families.>
It takes a lot of time and dedication to walk beside each family. It takes relationships with other non-profit groups I the community. It also takes a dedicated and passionate staff, and well-oiled, finely tuned office to keep everything well coordinated.
One of our expenses is filling and shipping needed food and supplies to the Philippines via a 40’ container, this project currently runs around $7,500.00.

This effort to fill and ship the most cost effective way to sent supplies, it’s a remarkably low price considering the magnitude of supplies we can fit into one container.
Sponsor half a container or partner with others for the other half from business and generous individuals in the community. We already have supplies donated from local schools, stores and the local community.
